HALL DES LUMIÈRES

New York, NY

Hall des Lumières is New York’s first permanent digital art center in the Beaux-Arts landmarked building located at 49 Chambers Street in New York, NY. Originally the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, the 27,500 square foot space on the basement and ground floor has been demolished and fitted out to form an immersive, interactive, digital experience in a unique setting transformed into event space for their rotating exhibits. Ryan Soames supported the project with the full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Sprinkler design for the space, including infrastructure upgrades and Landmark Preservation Commission approval.
