Luna Park

Coney Island, NY

Luna Park is an amusement park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, in New York City that opened in 1903 and is the home of the famous Cyclone roller coaster. Luna Park has undergone an expansion since 2010 with the addition of the Thunderbolt roller coaster in 2014. Now Luna Park brings yet more attractions in 2020! Start your day at Luna Park on Stillwell Avenue with the beautiful entrance and public space to welcome you with entertainment, food options, and shaded seating areas. Next, you can enjoy the Ropes Course. Experience thrills and chills beachside on the Super Flume and Coaster. You can cool down and take a plunge on the water attraction-Big WaveZ! After a day of heart-pounding thrills, you can eat at one of the delicious spots, Flywheel Eats or Al Cavallino. If you want a quick snack stop by Half Moon Café, Zweetie, or Coney’s Cones for a sweet or savory treat. Ryan Soames Engineering provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the site infrastructure and building systems to the new attractions.
